An all-South Philadelphia showdown saw Jeff Chandler knock out Johnny Carter in six rounds to retain his WBA bantamweight in Pennsylvania Hall at the Civic Center. NBC-TV aired the show, which included Johnny Cooper's win over Mike Picciotti in an all-Philadelphia match and Kevin Howard's upset decision over Bobby Joe Young, of Steubenville, OH. Carter had beaten Chandler in Jeff's second and last amateur contest. This is the 22x28 cardboard poster from the fight.
