Jeff Chandler vs. Jorge Lujan Poster 1981 |

Hall-of-Fame bantamweight Jeff Chandler made the first defense of his WBA title when he scored a close 15-round decision over ex-champ Jorge Lujan, of Panama, at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza Hotel ballroom in Philadelphia. The date was Jan. 31, 1981, and it marked the final chapter in the brief promotional career of Muahmmad Ali Professional Sports (MAPS). On the eve of the fight it was learned that MAPS had embezzled millions from a Wells Fargo bank in California and CBS-TV turned the show over to Peltz Boxing Promotions, Inc. This 22x28 cardboard poster is from that fight.
