That's world middleweight champion Carlos Monzon in big-time trouble after getting belted with a big right hand in round 9 of his Nov. 11, 1972 title defense against Bennie Briscoe in Buenos Aires. With the help of a local referee who let Monzon grab and hold on to Briscoe for what seemed like forever, Monzon survived and went on to post a unanimous 15-round decision to retain his title. This 7x7 black-and-white photo is an original.
