Montgomery vs. Mouzon I Ticket 1946 |

This is a full ticket from the first fight between lightweight champ Bob Montgomery and fellow-Philadelphian Wesley Mouzon on Aug. 19, 1946 at Shibe Park (aka Connie Mack Stadium) in Philadelphia. Mouzon, only 19 years old, KOd Montgomery in the second round of their non-title fight before 14,639 fans. Three months later, with the title on the line, Montgomery K0d Mouzon in eight rounds in Philadelphia's Convention Hall. Mouzon, who previously had held Ike Williams to a draw, suffered a detached retina and never boxed again. The ticket is 6x2.25 inches and is signed on the back by both fighters.
